If the weather holds this weekend - Santa Cruz is always pretty fun.  At 13 the boardwalk still might be appealing.

I hear the Children's Discovery Museum has a Cat in the Hat exhibit, but I think it ends this week.  I love Cat in the Hat, so even though I'm way older than 13, I may wander over there to check it out.
