Hello Austinites,

I'm from San Francisco, and I want to send a restaurant gift certificate to some friends who live in Austin. It's their first wedding anniversary (aww)--so something nice. They're kind of food snobs (he's a chef). . .any ideas from anyone?? Appreciate the help!

Trulucks! GREAT seafood restaurant on 5th street, great location. and the best service i've had in town.

Trulucks is good, but a chain.  I would suggest Fonda San Miguel, Chez Nous, or Jeffrey's.  They are all local and delicious.
