thing to get (the buffet), where said large men dish out one meat dish (bone-in chicken, for example), and a couple good veggie dishes, and a chunk of naan. Tastes damn good, too.  There's a load of food...

This is the best Indian food I've ever had.  It's a great atmosphere, very warm and exotic.  Very good service.  The naan is delicious and fresh (bread is very important to me).  I'm not a vegetarian...

Chicken Tikka Masala

1. Rasika

had the Chicken Green Masala and the Andhra Lamb Curry but to be honest I have no idea because I was so transported by the food.  Not heavy, flavors strong but not overpowering, sauces just right...

Neighborhood: Cleveland Park

had some good food here (chicken tikka masala is solid), and it was better to me than Indique Heights. Reliable, not mind blowing....

3. Tandoori Nights

recommend the classic chicken tikka masala and their Kashmiri Naan to go with it, heaven in your mouth... And the Mango-Rita, simpy can't get enough! And the added bonus is that, weather permitting...

4. Taj of India Cuisine

Neighborhood: Georgetown

were freshly fried, not sitting around under some heat lamp in the back!  Finally, I know where to get my chicken tikka masala fix!  This place is no Lahore Karahi, but it may well be the best NW DC's...

5. The Bombay Club

the traditional 'chicken tikka masala' at this place but the seafood thali is highly recommended....
